Cooking for two

I Have never been a cook, before I got married I used to microwave veggies and eat cereal for dinner, I'm sure there must be some women who can relate.

I am very blessed to have married a man who loves cooking and cooks for me all the time.
in the past 8 months of marriage I dont think I have even turned the stove on until NOW

I made dinner and it actually worked! I was so nervous that I thought I would just give up half way through and it ended up being quite easy. I just ( like all my girl friends suggested) followed the recipe. It ended up being a yummy chicken curry. and I think it actually worked out great!!

My husband was so grateful, he came back late from work and said "wow something smells so great" I suddenly felt that stepford wife pride feeling and realised why the 1940's woman actually enjoyed this endevour of being the house cook.. He proceeded to kiss me after supper saying how wonderful I am and wow did I feel guilty. I turned to him and said. "you do this for me every night!" we have now come to an agreement that I will cook once a week at least! Lets see what next week brings. I think that means we will be having curry once a week!
